# How do surveys work?

Surveys are one of the **easiest and most rewarding ways** to earn points on ZoomBucks. Every time you complete a survey, you earn points that can be redeemed for digital rewards like **gift cards** or **cash** in our Rewards Store.

## How to Get Started

Our top earners complete surveys daily by sharing their opinions and getting paid for it. Here's how you can begin:

1. **Create a ZoomBucks account** and log in.
    
2. **Verify your email** by clicking the confirmation link we send you.
    
3. Upon signing up, you’ll be asked to **complete your “About Me” section**, which helps us match you with better, higher-paying surveys.
    
4. Navigate to the **“Surveys”** section via the hamburger menu (top right).
    
5. You’ll see three types of survey sources to choose from:

* **Hot Surveys**
* **Survey Walls**
* **Survey Routers**
        
6. Answer any pre-survey questions to determine your eligibility.
    
7. Start completing surveys and earning points!

## Types of Survey Providers

You’ll find three main types of survey sources on ZoomBucks:

### 1. Hot Surveys (Premium Surveys)

These are top-priority surveys featured at the top of the **homepage** and **survey section**. They’re matched to you based on your **“About Me”** profile details and the requirements of active survey campaigns.

* Surveys refresh **every 10 minutes**
    
* Clearly labeled with **estimated time** and **points offered**

Survey availability is not guaranteed. The number of surveys you see can vary based on your profile information, location, the current demand and targeting criteria of survey providers, and whether a campaign still has available places. Survey opportunities may therefore be limited or unavailable even after you complete your profile.

### 2. Survey Walls

Survey walls (e.g., **CPX Research**) display a list of available surveys based on your profile. You can choose which ones to take, giving you more control.

* **CPX Research** even awards **partial points** for disqualifications
    
* Great for browsing and selecting high-value opportunities

Routers send you to surveys based on live availability and follow-up demographic questions. After each survey attempt, you're sent to another relevant survey.

## How Much Can You Earn from Surveys?

Surveys typically pay anywhere from **25 to 10,000 points**, depending on the provider, length, and type.
